Ben and Heather had a fun time creating the all new Love Oak parade float for Rip Fest 2018! Rip Fest takes place every first Saturday of October in Eastland, Tx. People from all around the world come to celebrate the legend of Old Rip. Our Love Oak float was a lot of work..... but it was awesome to see all the smiling faces when it joined the procession of local community spirit!
Kids loved Lovey "the heart"! Lovey is our new Love Oak mascot. It was so cute seeing all the kids run up to give Lovey a hug. We love making people smile, because laughter and smiling is the best medicine!
Texas Tech School of Pharmacy joined in on the fun! They helped us with the Rip Fest Health Fair, where they tested over 100 people for high blood pressure and diabetes. It is great seeing these young professionals care so much about helping and loving others. Thank you Texas Tech!
